A screening of Spider-Man: Brand New Day at the Plaza Bocagrande cinema in Cartagena, Colombia, was reportedly evacuated after an absolutely unbearable smell spread through the auditorium.
According to reports, the odor was initially blamed on an audience member letting out what can only be described as a Hulk-sized fart.
The smell apparently became so intense that moviegoers began covering their noses and leaving the theater, while footage from the scene showed crowds gathering outside the auditorium. A person dressed as Spider-Man was even seen trying to entertain the displaced fans.

But there is one important twist.
Cinema staff reportedly couldn’t confirm exactly what caused the smell, and some suspected that someone may have deliberately released a stink bomb as a prank rather than this being the work of one extremely powerful digestive system.
No injuries were reported, and the theater continued operating other screenings. The affected showing also wasn’t officially canceled, although dozens of people reportedly chose not to return.
So, for now, the identity of the mysterious culprit remains unknown.
Spider-Man survived the Green Goblin, Doctor Octopus, Thanos and the Multiverse…
But apparently one unidentified moviegoer nearly cleared an entire theater with a single attack. 💀
